"The Prom" follows the journey of Emma Nolan, a high school student who just wants to take her girlfriend to the prom. When the PTA cancels the prom to avoid controversy, a group of Broadway stars finds out about Emma's situation and decides to help. The result is a hilarious and heartwarming adventure that explores themes of love, acceptance, and the power of standing up for what is right.
Ghostlight ETC has a reputation for delivering outstanding performances, and "The Prom" is no exception. Under the direction of Micki Doherty, the cast and crew have worked tirelessly to bring this Broadway sensation to their Downers Grove stage. The production features a talented ensemble of high school performers who have poured their hearts into rehearsals, ensuring an unforgettable experience for the audience.

Along with talented actors and actresses, Ghostlight ETC employs many talented local musicians. The musical pit is led by Musical Director Alex Bahaveolos and includes Greg Woods (Keyboard 1), Dove Hollis (Guitar), Joe Perillo (Drums), Sam Tedeschi (Bass Guitar), Robert Lark (Trumpet/Horn), Emma Germann (Reeds) and Ash Fitzwater (Violin).
