Every month, Las Locas Comedy & Pa Fuera Productions join forces to bring the hottest comedians from across Chicagoland (and special out of state guests) at Sabado Night Laughs at our new venue Surge Billiards in Logan Square. Get the amigas/os together and come on out for a noche of diverse laughs with your favorite Latina comedians to celebrate calabaza spice and all things that make up spooky season! Headliner: Janice Rodriguez (Las Locas Comedy) 

Janice Rodriguez, (first name rhymes with Denise – you can ask her mom), is a Chicago based failed entrepreneur and comedian. When she's not agonizing over an unnecessary spreadsheet or micromanaging others, she performs her unique brand of stand up across Chicagoland and the country.  She’s also a Founder and Executive Producer of Las Locas Comedy, and the Co-founder and Executive Producer of the Latina Comedy Festival, celebrating its third year in October 2024.

Janice regularly performs at Chicago area comedy showcases and comedy clubs Zanies, Improv, Laugh Factory, Comedy Vault, Comedy Bar, CG’s Comedy Club, and Red Room Comedy. She’s also performed at clubs across the USA including The Drop (South Bend), Comedy Bar (Dubuque), The Comic Strip (El Paso), LOL San Antonio, Cap City (Austin), Helium Comedy Clubs (Indianapolis/St. Louis/Philadelphia,) Stand Up and Rock (Las Vegas), and Jackie Knights (St. Augustine, FL).

Janice uses her experience as being the whitest Latina she knows and an at best average marriage partner to tell her side of the story. She aims to bring a fresh perspective to topics related to her culture, Indiana upbringing, and her professional and personal lives. She's also very tired.
