Prayer for the French Republic, a play by Joshua Harmon, explores the enduring fears of a Jewish family in France across generations. Set against the backdrop of 1944 and resonating with contemporary concerns, it follows a couple awaiting news of their loved ones, while their descendants grapple with the question: "Are we safe?" Directed by Jeremy Wechsler and featuring a cast that includes Janet Ulrich Brooks and Rom Barkhordar, this award-winning work reflects on history and the impact of age-old hatred. The production runs at Northlight Theatre from April 10 to May 11, 2025.
