CIRCA Pintig marks its 33rd Anniversary with a festival featuring an array of plays celebrating Filipino and Filipino American culture. The highlight of the first weekend is PILIPINAS! LOUD & PROUD KNB? - Queer Stories from the Diaspora, which explores themes of identity and heritage through the lens of the LGBTQ+ community. The festival also includes post-show discussions with playwrights and directors, providing an opportunity for deeper engagement with the stories presented. This event coincides with Filipino American History Month, honoring the rich tapestry of experiences within the diaspora.
