Rivendell Theatre Ensemble opens its 30th Anniversary Season with the world premiere of No Such Thing, a play by Lisa Dillman, directed by Malkia Stampley. The story follows Ren, portrayed by Susan Gosdick, a once-prominent screenwriter facing the challenges of social and professional invisibility in late middle age. As she navigates an affair that intertwines sex and storytelling, the play raises questions about life stories and societal perceptions of women beyond their prime. The cast features Jessica Ervin, Matt DeCaro, Cheryl Hamada, and Josh Odor, bringing to life this compelling exploration of identity and relevance.
