Las Locas Comedy celebrate all the badass women in our lives with a hot night of all-loca comedy featuring Chicagoland’s and the USA’s top Latina/e/x comedians and honorary locas from any background at the brand new women-owned comedy club in Forest Park, IL – BABS Comedy Club!
BABS Comedy Club was founded by Emily Ramirez to create a positive, professional, and HILARIOUS comedy experience for both audience and performer. Using her years of production and performance experience, an ever-growing roster of incredible comedians, and empathic understanding of people, Emily is passionate about nurturing a joyful, supportive, equitable, environment to laugh and grow in. One of her life’s mantras is “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Some of the most important changes Emily wants are more thoughtful, mentor-focused directors and more women leading the world of comedy. Cheers, to being the change!
A little trivia: ‘BABS’ is an acronym for “Bad A$$ B*tch” because that’s what Emily’s closest friends lovingly refer to her as.

She shares her experiences, including raising her special-needs son, Declan, through performances that mix warmth and wit. Patti’s comedy goes beyond parenting, tackling social issues and the quirks of everyday life with a cheerful edge. She’s headlined internationally, performed in top comedy festivals like Just For Laughs, and appeared on TBS, COMEDY.TV, and the OWN network’s “My Life Is A Joke.”
Patti Vasquez is a dynamic force in the fields of entertainment and advocacy, bringing her unique blend of humor, compassion, and insight to audiences everywhere. Born and raised in Chicago, Patti is not only an internationally performing comedian, but also a fervent advocate for individuals with disabilities. With a background that spans across radio hosting, stand-up comedy, and inspirational speaking, Patti’s work transcends traditional boundaries, touching hearts and invoking laughter with equal measure.
In addition to her advocacy, Patti’s artistic contributions have been recognized by institutions like the National Museum of Mexican Art and The University of Illinois, celebrating her influence in art and social change.
