Knockout at Steppenwolf

Knockout, created and performed by Erin Kilmurray and Kara Brody, is a groundbreaking dance work that explores themes of desire, intimacy, strength, and survival through a fierce duet between two women. Blending femme fight sequences and self-defense training, the performance promises to engage audiences in an intimate setting at Steppenwolf's 1700 Theater from January 24 to February 2, 2025. With support from a celebrated collaborative team, including lighting designer Liz Gomez and sound designer Corey Smith, Knockout offers a provocative and visceral experience, showcasing the powerful movement styles of its creators.
