An all-star of the indie family music scene, Justin Roberts has been creating the soundtrack to families lives for over 20 years. His devoted fan base enjoys classics like the fist-pumping Pop Fly and parent favorite Stay-At-Home Dad with its very own 80s pop anthem song break. Its unexpectedly intelligent and whimsically rocking music for kids!Though Roberts has had a successful career for over two decades, he knows that inside every one of us there is a mini rocker waiting to come out. You dont have to have fancy instruments or a pitch-perfect voice to make it happen - just a shoebox, some rubber bands, a little elbow grease, and youre on your way! With his latest concert program, BE YOUR OWN BAND, Justin and his amazing band the Not Ready for Naptime Players will get kids started on their own rock journey by making simple homemade instruments out of everyday objects, right there on stage. The 60-minute concert will include an ample serving of Robertss fun, interactive, and highly sophisticated songs, performed with his five-piece band accompanying him on bass, drums, electric guitar, trumpet, melodica, keyboard, acoustic guitar, ukulele, harmonica and more. They may even be joined by Justin's hilarious puppet friends, Willy the Whale, Tim, and Little Dave, helping to guide the audience through the fun.
