Influmedia: The Connection Bug, presented by TimeLine Theatre’s TimeLine South teen ensemble, explores the complexities of teen life in the digital age. As a group's Instagram account is hacked, the play delves into the emotional challenges and social repercussions faced by high school students caught in a web of online harassment. With interconnected stories highlighting the need for empathy, this world premiere aims to address social media's dark influence on real-life relationships. Performances take place on August 2 and 3 at the University of Chicago’s Logan Center.
