PULSE Theatre Chicago presents IN THE BLOOD by Pulitzer Prize Winner, Suzan-Lori Parks. IN THE BLOOD tells the story of Hester La Negrita, a homeless mother of five illegitimate children. Labeled as a slut and denounced by the world around her, Hester seeks absolution. A modern day riff on Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter.
