Hand Foot Hand, written and performed by Deborah Kent and directed by Kate Hendrickson, explores the challenges faced by a blind student navigating a new school environment. The narrative follows Kent’s journey from New Jersey to college in the turbulent Sixties, and on to the vibrant streets of New York and a community of writers in central Mexico. Infused with humor, the story reflects on finding one's place in a world that often presents barriers. This performance is part of Trap Door Theatre's Trap Open Series and contributes proceeds to the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois.
