A Christmas Story, the Musical! at The Chicago Theatre

The 30-member cast of A Christmas Story, The Musical! includes eight Chicago-area talents: Gene Weygandt (Park Ridge) as Jean Shepherd, plus in the ensemble: John Francis Babbo (River Forest), Sally Elting (Chicago), Adam Pelty (Chicago), Johnny Rabe (Naperville), Kayla Rea (Frankfort), and J.D. Rodriguez (Batavia), George Andrew Wolff (Bourbonnais). In addition, Broadway favorite (and Chicago native) Karen Mason (Wonderland, Mamma Mia!, Sunset Boulevard) will play school teacher Miss Shields.

The rest of the cast is comprised of Clarke Hallum and John Bolton, who reprise their acclaimed performances as Ralphie and The Old Man from the 2010 Seattle production; Rachel Bay Jones as The Mother, Matthew Lewis as little brother Randy, and in the ensemble: Jonathan Burke, Andrew Cristi, Nick
