Concern Worldwide will be hosting its annual Women of Concern Brigid Awards luncheon on Friday, February 25th, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The 2011 Women of Concern Brigid Award luncheon will be held at the Renaissance Hotel, 1 West Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL, to honor three outstanding women and their exceptional achievements. The Women of Concern Brigid luncheon will be dedicating a part of the events time to a Silent Auction, auctioning off celebrities new and gently used handbags, wallets, and other accessories in order to raise money to continue with the development and implementation of programs in underdeveloped countries.

More than 600 guests, a multitude of Chicago businesses and many community leaders consistently flock to The Women of Concern Brigid luncheon event to show their appreciation for the care, kindness, and justices that these women live their lives with. The 2011 Women of Concern Brigid Award luncheon will recognize three women whose daily lives and work reflect justices, generosity and compassion, the honorees will include Illinois Supreme Court Justice, Anne Burke and an Honorary Life Director, from The Chicago Council of Global affairs, Patricia B. Koldyke.
