Mark it down now! You won't want to miss the third annual Celebration of the BroadwayWorld Chicago Awards, a fun mid-winter party to be held on Wednesday night, January 9, 2013 at The Call nightclub in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.

The 2012 BroadwayWorld Chicago Awards, the area's only fan-voted, online theater awards competition, is already underway, with nominations open now (through October 26, 2012). Newly expanded to 30 categories, the Awards cover Equity and Non-Equity productions with opening dates between November 1, 2011 and October 31, 2012. CLICK HERE if you haven't already nominated your favorite productions and theater artists.

The official nominees will be announced by November 5, 2012, when online voting will begin via BroadwayWorld's propriety voting system. Voting will end December 15, 2012, with the winners announced online in time for Christmas!

And then, the Awards Celebration will take place as the last event of the holiday party season--perfect for a cast reunion, or as a nightcap after an intimate dinner with friends. The Call nightclub is located at the north end of the Andersonville strip, at 1547 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue, between Clark Street and Ashland Avenue, just steps from the #22 Clark and #50 Damen CTA buses, and a 10-minute walk from the CTA Red Line's Bryn Mawr stop.

The Celebration will kick off at 9:00 pm and run through midnight, though the club is open until 2:00 am (21 and over only, please). BroadwayWorld's Paul W. Thompson and The Call's Ashley Morgan will once again co-host, presenting certificates to the Award winners. All nominees will receive yellow ribbons to wear upon check-in, and showtune-themed cocktails will be available!

VJ Michael Hogan will be on hand to play old and new showtune video favorites throughout the evening, and he is the Event Producer for The Call. Paul W. Thompson is the Event Producer for BroadwayWorld. Event planning and promotion for The Call is by Rob Anthony, and event planning and promotion for BroadwayWorld is by Michael Mosley.

Who will be nominated? Who will win? And, most importantly, who will YOU meet at the Awards Celebration? Join together with fans and industry professionals as we celebrate the full range of Chicagoland theater's brightest achievements over the past year. Come one, come all, to The Call!
