The longest running Broadway musical in Chicago history, WICKED, is happy to announce day-of-performance drawing for seats in the front two rows for $25 each. The engagement of WICKED will return this holiday season for eight weeks only, December 1 - January 23, at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph). The drawing takes place at the Cadillac Palace Theatre box office.

Entry forms are available on the day of the performance during regular business hours at the Cadillac Palace Theatre box office. Two hours prior to each performance names are drawn - totaling 20 seats. The names drawn have the opportunity to purchase one or two tickets at $25 each, cash only. The names drawn must be present and cash and photo-ID are required.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin, Academy Award-winner for Pocahontas and The Prince of Egypt) and book by Winnie Holzman ("My So Called Life," "Once And Again" and "thirtysomething"), WICKED, the untold story of the witches of Oz, is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello (Take Me Out, Love! Valour! Compassion!, The Vagina Monologues) and features musical staging by Tony® Award winner Wayne Cilento (Aida, The Who's Tommy, How To Succeed...). WICKED, winner of 35 major awards, including a Grammy® Award and 3 Tony® Awards, is the untold story of the witches of Oz. It is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Pictures, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone.

Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz. One - born with emerald green skin - is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

WICKED begins performances on December 1 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre and will run through January 23. Good seats are still available and range in price from $35 to $105. A select number of premium seats are also available. Tickets are available at all Broadway In Chicago Box Offices (24 W. Randolph St., 151 W. Randolph St., 18 W. Monroe St. and 175 E. Chestnut St.), the Broadway In Chicago Ticket Line at (800) 775-2000, all Ticketmaster retail locations (including Hot Tix and select Carson Pirie Scott, Coconuts and fye stores), and online at www.BroadwayInChicago.com.
