Simmering with story, songs, music and poetry of the old village pub, Irish Stew will be at Village Players on March 14th and March 21st, 2010.

Mix together the myth of Deirdre, the historical tale of Theobald Wolfe Tone, the humor of one-up tales, and songs and music of the humor, soul and beauty of Ireland for a delicious, heart-warming Irish evening.

"Irish Stew" features story artists Margaret Burk and Megan Wells, modern-day Irish troubadour Gerry Dignan, song writer, singer and Irish History buff Paul McKenna, and young musicians from the Academy of Irish Music.

"Irish Stew" will be on Sunday, March 14th and Sunday, March 21st, 2010. Both shows will be at 7pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, and $15 for seniors of 65 and students with a valid I.D. All performances will be found at the Village Players Performing Arts Center, 1010 Madison St., Oak Park.
