VICTORY GARDENS ADDS ADDED-VALUE SUMMER FUN TO RELATIVELY CLOSE WITH 2-FOR-1 SISTERS PREVIEWS, THEATER THURSDAY POTLUCK PARTY, SPECIAL PRE-SHOW EVENTS, FAMILY SATURDAY, PUB NIGHT, ACCESS SHOWS AND MORE

Anyone with a family - and that's just about everybody - will easily identify with Chicago playwright James Sherman's carefully nuanced mix of domestic humor and sentimental undertones in his newest family comedy Relatively Close, premiering June 6-July 13, 2008 at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue, Chicago.

Ideal summer entertainment, Relatively Close tells the story of three sisters who return to their family vacation home on the shores of Lake
Michigan, where they spent their youth. Now the sisters are grown, the parents are gone, and the house is just sitting there. One sister wants to keep it, one wants to sell it, and the other just wants everyone to get along. With their respective spouses and one teenager in tow, will theyeven make it to the end of the week?  Not likely!

Following is the slate of fun special events and cool summer promotions cooked up to add value and excitement to Victory Gardens' world premiere of Relatively Close. All events are free unless noted otherwise. Regular ticket prices, $20-$45, still apply. For tickets and information, call the Victory Gardens box office - (773) 871-3000 - or visit http://www.VictoryGardens.org
