This Mother's Day, Chicago's favorite French-inspired patisserie, Vanille, is celebrating mom with a first-of-its-kind photo contest. From Monday, April 18 to Sunday, May 8, mothers and children of all ages who stop by one of Vanille's three Chicago locations can snap a photo of themselves enjoying any of Vanille's artisanal specialties for the chance to win an Afternoon Tea party for ten people inside the luxurious Vanille Salon located at the Lincoln Park location, 2108 N. Clark Street.
To enter the Mom, Me & Vanille Photo Contest, guests need to post their photo on Facebook or Instagram using #MomMeVanille. They must also tag Vanille at @VanilleChicago on Instagram or "Vanille Patisserie" on Facebook. The person with the photo that receives the most "likes" will be named the winner.
Vanille's Afternoon Tea is a one-of-a-kind experience that transports guests straight to Paris. Taking place in the Vanille Salon with its glamorous sparkling chandelier, black and white muraled wall and tufted dining chairs, gourmet tea is served in porcelain pots, while platters of Vanille's signature pastries and finger sandwiches are paraded around the table with fresh flowers at its center.
Afternoon Tea is available every Thursday through Sunday at Vanille's Lincoln Park location, with three daily reservation times of 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. A minimum of four guests is required to book the Vanille Salon, which can accommodate up to ten guests. Each tea service lasts approximately an hour and a half. The cost is $32 per person including a wide variety of pastries, scones and finger sandwiches along with Benjamin's Tea. Petit Tea, for guests four to 12-years-old, is also available for $19 per person.
