Vanille Chicago Hosts Free Kid-Friendly Monthly Children's Book Club and Interactive Kids' Concert

Chicago's premier French-style pastry shop, Vanille Patisserie, presents a complimentary Children's Book Club and Interactive Kids' Concert with Bubbles Academy as new free monthly events in their three Chicagoland locations. Known for its legendary macarons and other handmade confectionaries, Vanille will offer children in Chicago the chance to gather together to hear great stories, decorate scrumptious cookies, and sing and dance with their families and friends.

It has been said that reading is "dreaming with your eyes open" and what's better than "dreaming" with some delicious treats on top of it? The Children's Book Club at each Vanille location is open to children and their family members, in cooperation with Unabridged Bookstore. Sure to be a sweet time, Vanille hosts the Children's Book Club once a month. In Lincoln Park, 2108 N. Clark St., the Book Club takes place on Wednesdays October 5, November 2 and December 7 at 3:30 p.m., while at the Chicago French Market, 131 N. Clinton St., it occurs on Saturdays October 15, November 19 and December 17 at 12:00 p.m. Lakeview, 3243 N. Broadway, hosts the Book Club on Wednesdays October 26,November 23 and December 28 at 3:30 p.m.

Until the end of the year, Vanille will host an Interactive Kids Concert with Bubbles Academy, a child enrichment and activity center that works to empower children in their confidence, creativity and curiosity through music, art, dance and drama, at the Lincoln Park and Lakeview locations. In Lincoln Park, the concert will occur on Wednesdays October 19,November 16 and December 21 at 3:30 p.m., while the Lakeview location will host Bubbles Academy and the kids at3:30 p.m. on Wednesdays October 12, November 9 and December 14.
