The University of Chicago International House presents a much-anticipated performance of the acclaimed Jazz Fauré Project on Sunday November 18 at 2PM at 1414 East 59th Street at the University of Chicago, only 20 minutes from Downtown Chicago.

What happens when French impressionism inspires American jazz? Come find out November 18 when the Jazz Fauré Project replays the hit songs of 19th century French composer Gabriel Fauré by way of swing, bossa, ballad and blues.

Performed by two of Chicago's finest singers Sean Harris and Claudia Hommel, and a jazz quartet of pianist Bobby Schiff, Jerry DiMuzio on flute, clarinet, soprano and tenor saxophones, Jim Cox on bass, and Tim Davis on drums. A talented singer in his own right, French Consul General to Chicago, Jean-Baptiste Main de Boissière, provides a short opening act with pianist George Lepauw.

VIP reserved cabaret seating is $35. General admission tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door, and $7 for students. A reception and light refreshments will follow.
