Uma Productions hosts its 4th annual "March Hare" fundraiser, Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Adobo Grill Wicker Park, 2005 W. Division St. in Chicago.   All proceeds benefit Uma Productions, creating some of the most bold and imaginative theater in Chicago.

This year's South of the Border-themed event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour and sit-down dinner exclusively for premium ticket holders.  Then at 9:30 p.m., the party kicks into high gear with music, casino gambling, margaritas galore and other surprises.  Guests can also bid on unbeatable silent auction items.

"Uma Productions was founded in 2001 and performed their first show in a small church in Humboldt Park.  Since then, their proudest moments include the New York International Fringe Festival hit why they invented dancing, which began in Chicago; The Pool of Bethesda, winner of numerous awards including an After Dark Award for Best Production; the original burlesque musical adventure Enter Alice; and the critically acclaimed 2005-2006 season. Uma's hopeful, poetic productions are recognizable by their common trait of re-creating the entire space they are in, giving the audience a full theatrical experience," state press materials.

"March Hare" is sponsored by Art+Science Salons, Chicago Social and Adobo Grill.

Ticket packages for "March Hare" are $25 - $100.  For tickets and more information, call (773) 347-1375 or visit www.umaproductions.org.
