Triple Threat Extreme - Legally Blonde Style, presented by The Broadway Dreams Foundation, will storm into the Windy City in March with three of the original cast members of the hit Broadway Show "Legally Blonde" to instruct, encourage and inspire Broadway hopefuls of all ages to follow their dreams. As Hugh Jackman jubilantly announced at the Academy Awards, "The Musical is Back!" What better source than The Broadway Dreams Foundation to provide the inside track on how to be a part of this dynamic and HOT comeback trend? Attendees of Triple Threat Extreme will be coached by savvy Broadway veterans in acting, dance, vocals and the skills necessary to kick-start a performance career.

The impressive faculty of this exceptional workshop hail directly from New York where they have appeared in shows such as "Pal Joey," "La Cage Aux Folles", "Miss Saigon", and "Legally Blonde", to name just a few. Instructors include Matt Risch, currently playing the lead role on Broadway in "Pal Joey," opposite Stockard Channing. Risch also performed in "Legally Blonde" and "Chicago". Dynamic performer Nikki Snelson will whip you into shape ala her character Brooke, the fitness guru, in "Legally Blonde". Snelson also appeared in the Broadway Revival of "Sweet Charity" with Christina Applegate and "A Chorus Line" and has been featured on TV's popular "Desperate Housewives". The Broadway Dreams Foundation proudly announces Paul Canaan as its Artistic Director.. Having performed and taught all over the world, Paul imports his vast stage and screen experience to The Broadway Dreams Foundation, including being a judge on the MTV series "Legally Blonde: The Search For Elle Woods". Paul has also appeared in "La Cage aux Folles" and "Miss Saigon", among numerous other Broadway productions.

The curriculum for this event emphasizes becoming a triple threat: a performer equally talented in singing, dancing, and acting. This informative workshop is divided into three sessions so participants can study acting, vocal and theater dance workshops separately or as a full day workshop. The Broadway Dreams Foundation Co-Founder and Executive Director, Annette Tanner explains, "Our promise to our students is that we will do everything in our power to give them the tools necessary to excel in the world of musical theater, whether it is on Broadway or elsewhere. Many of our students have gone on to perform in Regional, National and Broadway productions, including young Nia Imani, currently starring in "The Lion King". Our students will undergo amazing transformations during this premier camp and we love to help facilitate this process. As instructors, our priority is giving the students a sense of accomplishment and the confidence they need to push their skills and talents to the next level".
