Three Cat Productions Celebrates Barbra Streisand's 71st Birthday in BAB FAB Concert Tonight

Three Cat Productions has announced its sixth annual Bab Fab concert celebrating Barbra Streisand's 71st birthday. The performance will be hosted by Rob Dorn tonight, April 20th at 7:30 p.m. in the Coach House Theater at the Berger Park Cultural Center, 6205 N. Sheridan Rd, Chicago, Ill. Tickets are available for $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors.

Proceeds from the Bab Fab concert ticket sales will fund Three Cat Education, an arm of Three Cat Productions dedicated to offering youths nurturing and explorational education programs. Three Cat Education will run a spring youth production The Magic Games and Other Storybook Stuff on May 18 and 19, as well as summer theater camps from June 17 to August 16.

Bab Fab will feature music from the course of Streisand's career including "Don't Rain on My Parade", "She Touched Me", "A Piece of Sky", and "People." Featuring some of Chicago's best musical theatre talent, Roger Anderson, Sean Effinger Dean, Jen Farney, Scott Gryder, Adam Hibma, Kim Mallory, Paul Motondo, Emily Rohm, Jason Paul Smith, and others will perform the pop star's hits. Nick Sula will provide musical direction.

Three Cat Productions' 2013 season also includes the Chicago New Work Festival, a selection of seven new plays by Chicago playwrights, running Saturdays from March 30 to May 18; SOLO Chicago, a showcase for individual performances running June 5 - 15; and Cabaret on the Lake, Fridays in June and July.
