Due to a developing controversy surrounding GRAFFITO, the remaining screenings at Oracle theatre have been cancelled indefinitely. The Graffito team says, "Our intention with this film was to stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters fighting the good fight, not to shame or embarrass. We support, unconditionally, those that are passionate about changing our world and are dedicated to nonviolent tactics that serve to unite. Literally hundreds of beautiful artists and citizens have poured their hearts into this film. Now, with our future uncertain, we need your support now more than ever."

GRAFFITO's next FREE public screening is scheduled for 7pm on September 26th at HQ (1914 N Milwaukee Ave). The evening's events will begin with Danny Rockett of Bad Teenage Mustache playing a solo set. Then, after the GRAFFITO screening, John Sutton (the film's composer) and friends will play a set of music drawn from and inspired by Graffito.

Please come out and see this film! Please engage us in discussion on these important topics of artistic freedom of expression, non-violence, community, compassion, meaning, and technology.

In the meantime we would love your support! We want as many people to see this film as possible, to make the debate as big as possible. Help support a GRAFFITO festival run:
-Visit our website to find out more information or to make a donation.
-Write a review of GRAFFITO on imdb.
-Respond to this email to find out how you can get your hands on a free copy of GRAFFITO
-Ask us how you can host a screening of GRAFFITO at your space
-Come to a screening!

The creative team say, "This situation is a GOOD thing! We WANT to have these types of debates about our art. We WANT people to feel activated by our films. We WANT this project to serve as a catalyst for meaningful discussion."
