Theo Ubique's cabaret saluting the man who was arguably the most popular singer of the 20th Century will be extended beyond its originally announced closing date of January 10th and will run throughout the month of January, closing on Sunday, January 31.

The revue featuring some 50 standards recorded by Frank Sinatra, sung here by a cast of four singers backed up by Music Director Jeremy Ramey's three-piece band, has won raves from the Chicago Sun-Times, the Chicago Reader, New City and many other media.

Cast members Christopher Logan and Kyrie Anderson, known to Theo Ubique audiences for their recent performances in A Kurt Weill Songbook and Blood Brothers are joined by company newcomers Carl Herzog and Caitlin Boho in performing dozens of the many Great American songbook standards popularized by crooner Frank Sinatra. Logan's Theo Ubique credits include performing in many of the company's recent cabarets as well as choreographing their A Marvin Hamlisch Songbook. Elsewhere this past summer he starred as Peter Allen in Pride Films and Plays' The Boy from Oz.

Kyrie Anderson appeared in Theo's A Cole Porter Songbook when it was remounted at Theatre on the Lake, but My Way is just her second show on the No Exit stage. She made her No Exit debut in Theo's Blood Brothers, which ran from September 29 through November 15. She's also had roles in NightBlue's Songs for a New World and Pride Films and Plays' Under a Rainbow Flag.

Making their Theo Ubique debuts in My Way are Carl Herzog and Caitlin Boho. Herzog's previous credits include Iachimo and Guiderius in Shakespeare's Cymbeline (Muse of Fire), the world premiere of the musical Heavenly Evening (Glitterati Productions), Downrange (Genesis Theatrical Productions), Shakespeare Conspiracy (Artists Ensemble), and Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire (Jedlicka Performing Arts Center). Boho, a graduate of Illinois State University's Acting program, has recently had roles in Triassic Parq (Circle Theatre), El Stories, People Watching (Waltzing Mechanics), Electra (Mary-Arrchie Theatre) and Hair (Big Noise Theatre). In addition to theatrical productions, Boho performs her comedic cabaret alter-ego Maureen San Diego at various burlesque theaters and comedy showcases throughout Chicago.

This cabaret conceived by Todd Olson and David Grapes was originally produced in Los Angeles and has since become a hit all over the country. It features dozens of songs written by some of America's best-loved songwriters. My Way... A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra began performances on Friday, November 27. There will be no performances on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, but the regular schedule will include a special New Year's Eve performance as well as a show on New Year's Day.

Anzevino directs the cabaret with Resident Musical Director Jeremy Ramey on the piano. Maggie Portman is choreographer. The design team is Adam Veness (Set Design), Bill Morey (Costume Design), Maya Michele Fein (Lighting Design) and Mary Catherine Mikalayunas (Stage Manager).

Tickets for the full run, including the extension, are now on sale at www.theo-u.org.
