The Shakespeare Project of Chicago continues its 21st Theatrical Reading Season with free performances of Shakespeare's CYMBELINE, running Feb. 26-March 1, 2016, at six Chicago-area venues.
Filled with intrigue and romance, Shakespeare's CYMBELINE tells the tale of an evil queen, an innocent young princess, an upstanding young man, a conniving villain and the titular king set in ancient Britain.
Jeff Christian directs his own adaptation with a cast that includes Peter Garino, John Mossman, Tiffany Scott, David Skidmore, Danni Smith, Lee Stark, Daniel Patrick Sullivan and Shaun Whitley.
Music and sound design is by George Zahora and John Nygro is the production dramaturg.
Admission is free and seating is limited. All performances are preceded by an introduction to the play that commences 15 minutes prior to curtain.

CYMBELINE will be performed at six venues in the Chicago area.
The Shakespeare Project's 2015-16 season will continue in April with an adaptation of Shakespeare and John Fletcher's CARDENIO by Stephen Greenblatt and Charles Mee.
