The Scooty & JoJo Show and Metro premiere the new comic rock spectacle, Alien Queen: The Concert, 9pm on Friday, May 13th, 2011, at Metro, 3730 N. Clark St. Chicago, IL. Tickets go on sale April 9th at $16 advance-sale general admission, $20 day-of general admission, and $30 VIP seating. Alien Queen: The Concert combines the legendary music of Queen with an outrageous parody of the "Alien" films to create a top-notch Queen tribute band made up of H.R. Giger-inspired aliens, cross-gendered humans, and some of Chicago's best singers and rock musicians.

Starting at 9pm on May 13th, The Scooty & JoJo Show and Metro host a full evening of rock and ridiculousness, with special guests performing before Alien Queen: The Concert takes the stage. The show is an 18-and-over event.

The Scooty & JoJo Show presented their original musical Alien Queen: A Sci-fi Rock ParOdyssey in December 2010 and January 2011 at Chicago's Circuit Nightclub, garnering incredible critical praise and packed houses. The original show, created and staged by Scott Bradley, was a farcical fusion of the Alien film franchise with the iconic songs of British rock band Queen.
Featuring classic Queen hits as well as deep cuts from the early Queen catalog, Alien Queen's transformation into a new concert form puts the epic music and absurd pageantry front and center. Acclaimed performer Ryan Lanning returns as the Sigourney Weaver-inspired lead singer Ridley, while Scooty (aka creator Scott Bradley) continues his assault as the giant Alien Queen. Alien Queen: The Concert will feature new musical arrangements by bandleader Nicholas Davio as well as the ingenious aliens designed by Jabberwocky Marionettes, choreography of Jyl Fehrenkamp, and costuming by Anna Glowacki.
