The Revival is excited to announce the original improv comedy revue - BREAKDOWN: A LIVING NEWSFEED.

BREAKDOWN: A LIVING NEWSFEED is a fully improvised show that examines, lampoons, and ultimately humanizes the constant blitz of breaking news, hot takes, and media overload. "BREAKDOWN" uses the week's news and audience interaction combined with short games and scenes to inform and illuminate how the news cycle seeps into every part of our daily lives.

The ensemble includes an extraordinary depth of talent, with a rotation of Chicago's best and most experienced improvisers including: Ali Barthwell, Mary Jo Bolduc, Luiz Cortes, Megan Hovde, Liz Joynt Sandberg, Miguel Lepe Jr., Dave Lyzenga, Tim Soszko, Claudia Michelle Wallace. The Revival is an improv theater in Hyde Park dedicated to reflecting the diversity of Chicago's South Side. Inspired by the legacy of the Compass Players, The Revival brings improvisational comedy back to the same spot where it was born.
