The Paramount Theatre continues to celebrate its 80-year anniversary, and its origins as a movie palace, with its ongoing Classic Movie Mondays film series.
From the Paramount's gigantic screen and crystal clear digital projector, to the popcorn and full-service bar, Classic Movie Mondays has quickly become a destination to kick off the week, drawing hundreds of patrons each Monday to downtown Aurora. And with an 80 cent admission fee, it's the perfect way to enjoy an affordable night out, whether it's a get-together with friends, date night or a family outing.
Each Monday carries a different theme: Horror (1st Monday), Comedy (2nd Monday), Romance (3rd Monday) and Adventure (4th Monday). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the movie starting promptly at 7 p.m. The Paramount Theatre is located in the heart of downtown Aurora at 23 E. Galena Blvd.
