Upon hearing the first two tracks on the new, self-titled album by the band, That Sordid Little Story, Billy (Patriac Coakley) realizes that they have written the story of his life, thus far, in song. Believing that the band must be connected in some way to the father he has never met, he leaves home and travels the American Bible Belt in hopes of finding the band, and ultimately, the whereabouts of his father.

Mixing modern American story-telling devices with the traditions of Greek theatre to bring you a hilarious and heart-wrenching tale of a boy in search of his past. As the curtain opens on the play "That Sordid Little Story," the stage is set for a concert celebrating the latest release from the band, That Sordid Little Story, in 1963. However, as the story continues stories, music, themes, plots and stories combine, collide and clash. At first, the album eerily reveals aspects of Billy's life but as his journey across America begins, Billy's actions affect the rest of the album. Leaving the audience to ask the question; "Is Billy in charge of his own life or is his destiny and his future already decided for him?" "That Sordid Little Story" is co-written by Andrew Hobgood, Benno Nelson and Will Cavedo with original music and lyrics songs by Henry Riggs, Chris Gingrich, Tara Sissom and Thea Lux and features cast members Patriac Coakley, Caitlin Chuckta, Wes Needham, Jack McCabe, Anthony Di Nicola, Sean Ellis, Gary Tiedermann, Aaron Alonso, and Danny Taylor.

"That Sordid Little Story" also includes Kate Carson-Groner, stage manager; Thrisa Hodits, assistant stage manager; John Holt, scenic director; Nathan R, Rohrer, costume designer; Kevin McClintock, technical director and Nicholas J. Carroll, lighting designer. Musical Director Henry Riggs, Chris Gingrich, Tara Sissom and Thea Lux are the band.
