The Neo-Futurists present their annual Pride Weekend benefit: 30 Queer Plays in 60 Straight Minutes, a special edition of Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind: 30 Plays in 60 Minutes that pulls favorite queer-sexuality and gender bending themed plays from the past year into one fabulous Pride show, to benefit and support local LGBTQ organizations. This year's beneficiary is UCAN's LGBTQ Host Home Program.

UCAN's LGBTQ Host Home Program is an intentionally small, non-institutionalized program that links homeless lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or questioning (LGBTQ) youth aged 18-24 with stable housing and supportive services. The first of its kind in Illinois, this program asks trained volunteers to open their homes to unstably-housed Chicago LGBTQ youth, ending LGBTQ youth homelessness one partnership at a time. For more information, visit ucanchicago.org.

Two ways to help the Host Home Program:

First, display your Pride with TML... Pride themed buttons that are available for purchase throughout June. Second, when you make a donation through the Neo-Futurists the weekend of June 28, the Neos will dig into their own wallet to match every dollar (up to $750)! In all, the goal for the weekend is to raise $2,500 for the Host Home Program which directly funds youth living in Host Homes.

The benefit shows will take place Friday, June 28, Saturday, June 29 at 11:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 30 at 7:00 p.m. Standard TML... ticket pricing ($9 + the roll of the die). Advance tickets available for $20 with a roll-back refund at the door. Extra benefit performance: Saturday, June 29 at 8:00 p.m. - all tickets are $20 with all proceeds going to beneficiary. Performances take place at The Neo-Futurarium, 5153 N. Ashland (at Foster). For more information, call 773-275-5255 or visit www.neofuturists.org.

The Neo-Futurists are also participating in Chicago Dyke March 2013 on June 29. For more information, visit chicagodykemarch.wordpress.com.
