Willowbrook's charming Irish oasis, The Kerry Piper, is hosting its annual St. Patrick's Day celebration with three days packed with lucky fun inside the restaurant and outdoors under a massive party tent for extended hours Fri., Mar. 16 through Sun., Mar. 18, 2018. Weekend festivities include a St. Baldrick's head shaving event, special guest bartenders, several live bands and more. The cottage-style Irish pub will offer classic Irish dishes and drinks and truly Celtic fare for guests to enjoy.

St. Patrick's Day is one of the largest celebrations in the Chicago area, and The Kerry Piper has organized a weekend of rejoicing. The celebration begins with a Premiere Party on Friday, March 17 offering food, beverages and live music from 4 p.m. - 1 a.m., featuring performances from Cirrus Falcon, Mulhearn Irish Dancers, Whiskey Brothers, Emerald Society Bagpipers, St. Stephen's Green, Maggie Speaks and Infinity.

Since everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day, Saturday guests of all backgrounds are welcome to join The Kerry Piper team and enjoy the restaurant's full menu served inside, including Midnight Pig beer, with chargrilled burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, corned beef and swiss, salmon burgers, sausage pizza and cheese pizza available for purchase from the outside Grab 'N' Go menu. Live Celtic entertainment will be showcased both inside and outside under the festive tent from 12 p.m. - 1 a.m., for an all-day St. Patrick's Day celebration, including performances from Butterfly Swindlers, Lavin/Cassidy Dancers, The Blarney Brothers, McNulty Irish Dancers, The Rowdy Irishmen, Highland Guard Bagpipers, The Ploughboys, American English, Irish Dancers, Coyote Riot, Gavin Coyle and Hi Infidelity.

To top off the holiday weekend, The Kerry Piper will host a St. Baldrick's event with the Village of Willowbrook. Hundreds of guests will shave their heads and raise more than $100,000 for St. Baldrick's, a charitable organization that is committed to supporting and raising money for childhood cancer research. This annual event, held across the country, collects donated hair and makes wigs for children who have lost theirs to cancer. Sunday's events will be held from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. and have a family-friendly atmosphere with head painting, food and more live music, with Stark Raving Dad performing on the outside stage from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. In addition to the fun-filled day of charitable activities, anyone can donate to the cause by visiting St. Baldrick's donation page.

The Kerry Piper was designed to transport guests to a pub in Ireland through its interior design and Emerald Isle traditions. Even the stonework is rumored to be carved from an Irish castle wall. The restaurant prides itself on an atmosphere that is light-hearted and welcoming to any and all visitors who wish to settle in for a meal or just stop by for a drink.
