Don't miss the best party in town! Raue Center For The Arts invites you to The Irish House Party at 8 p.m. on March 1, 2019. The group returns to Crystal Lake for more fun after playing to a sold-out crowd in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2017!

"No St. Patrick's Day celebration would be complete without a trip to Raue Center to enjoy the Irish music and dance of The Irish House Party! It will be an evening of fun and laughter and we don't want you to miss out," says Raue Center Board President, Tim Paul. "Join us at Raue Center when The Irish House Party returns by audience demand!"

Irish music and dance shows often conjure up images of flat caps, waistcoats and comely maidens at the crossroads. Intimate, playful and fun for the whole family, The Irish House Party is a welcome antidote to cheesy portrayals of Irish music and culture. Don't miss the party everyone will be talking about all year long!

The show is hosted by All-Ireland champion musicians, dancers and entertaining presenters who create this unique Irish experience in its proper homely setting, resulting in an exciting new theatre-going experience. This fresh approach has made the show hugely popular with both Irish and international audiences with sell-out shows in Dublin.

The Irish House Party seeks to create an atmosphere where guests can be entertained and educated about the music. There is no distance between performers and guests: Just like a proper Irish house party.

The Irish House Party features founder and producer Declan Quinn on Irish flute, tin whistles and vocals. The show also features Eugene Quinn, one of the most sought after traditional Irish guitar players in Ireland today, as well as critically acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and producer Kevin Buckley on the fiddle. The Irish House Party also includes Tommy Martin, a Uilleann Piper who has performed with the Chicago Virtuosi Symphony Orchestra and "Riverdance." Shannon Zofkie, a competitive Irish dancer for 19 years at the Dennehy School of Irish Dance, rounds out the Irish House Party lineup.

Tickets start at $20, but hurry, as this show is sure to be another sell-out! Tickets may be purchased online at rauecenter.org or via the Box Office at 815.356.9212 or 26 N. Williams Street in downtown Crystal Lake.
