The Game Show Show...and Stuff! Opens at the Mercury Theater Late Night

Damian Arnold of The British Stage Company, announced the commercial engagement of the popular, late-night production The Game Show Show... and Stuff! previewing at The Mercury Theater, 3745 North Southport Avenue, on Friday, October 14-15 opening Friday, October 22 at 11pm and closing December 31. The Game Show Show... and Stuff! is a live interactive game show where audience members get a chance to be contestants in the games. Created by Anderson Lawfer and James Anthony Zoccoli, and directed by Noah Simon The Game Show Show...and Stuff! premiered at Strawdog Theatre Company in 2006 as a regular part of the late night programming. Due to popular demand the production transferred to a larger venue, The Lakeshore Theatre, in 2009 and then played The House Theatre of Chicago at The Chopin in 2010. The production has been named "Best Late Nite Show of 2007 & 2008" by Chicago Magazine, and "Best Kept Secret" by the Chicago Reader. Tickets are $15 and performances will run Fridays and Saturdays at 11:00 pm.

Throw "Double Dare", "Jackass", "The Price is Right" & "Soul Train" in a blender...strain & serve on the rocks. Voilá! The Game Show Show...& Stuff! Quesabroso! The name says it all. A Show - With Games - and Stuff! The evening is non-stop fun, featuring trivia Games, physical challenge games and good old-fashioned guessing games. What kind of stuff? You name it! Live Music. Dance Numbers. Comedy...& MORE! The audience can win fabulous prizes by performing ridiculous feats or ridicule the performers without leaving their seats.Either way, the experience cannot be paralleled.

The Game Show Show... and Stuff! is hosted by Anderson Lawfer and announced by James Anthony Zoccoli. The show features Nikki Klix and Anne Sheridan Smith as the "Show, Show, Show Girls" busting out the vocal chops in vampy costumes along with a fabulous six piece orchestra. There will be no shows on the following dates: November 11-12, December 24, January 13-14 and 20. For tickets, phone 773.325.1700.
