The Fifty/50 Hosts Monday Night Football Doubleheader Kickoff Party

Wicker Park's The Fifty/50 (2047 W Division St), recently voted "The Best Sports Bar In America" by Yahoo! and Thrillist, will throw its Monday Night Football Doubleheader Kickoff Party with ESPN Chicago starting at 5pm September 13. The Fifty/50 also has new fall food specials, new fall football specialty drinks served in 24oz glass mugs shaped like footballs, and new cheaper daily drink specials (all listed below).

ESPN Radio1000's Marc Silverman of the popular "Waddle & Silvy" radio show will be on-site and host The Fifty/50's Monday Night Football Doubleheader Kickoff Party on September 13. The Fifty/50 will screen the games (Baltimore @ NY Jets at 6pm and San Diego @ Kansas City at 9:15pm) on its 18 flatscreens with sound during the party. Like every Monday -- including every Monday Night Football game -- The Fifty/50 will have $1 domestic beer bottles and $1 Old Style & Old Style Light cans on special. There will be ESPN and Old Style giveaways during The Fifty/50's Monday Night Football Doubleheader Kickoff Party.

The Fifty/50, a proud Chicago Bears bar, will show all Bears games on its 18 flatcreens with sound. When the Bears aren't playing, The Fifty/50 will show all other key NFL games on its 18 flatscreens with sound as well. The Fifty/50 is also Big Ten bar and will show the best Big Ten games every Saturday on its 18 flatscreens with sound. Every Saturday and Sunday during football season, The Fifty/50 will have $16 domestic five-beer buckets and $20 import five-beer buckets on special.

All of the fall food specials, fall football specialty drinks, and new daily specials are listed below.

The Fifty/50 Fall Food Specials (starting Wednesday, September 8)
* "16oz Bone-in Prime Rib" (available only on Thursdays and Fridays) for $24. Certified Black Angus bone-in prime rib dry aged for 10 days, and then brined in traditional herbs and spices that's rubbed with a horseradish crust and slow roasted. Served with horseradish cream sauce, pan juices, and shoestring potatoes.

* "Prime Rib Sandwich" for $14. Thinly sliced slow roasted prime rib dipped in pan juices and served panini style with Swiss cheese on ciabatta bread. Served with choice of regular fries, seasoned waffle fries or sweet potato fries.

* "Maple Glazed Black Cod On Sweet Potato Hash" for $22. Pan seared and then broiled wild caught 8oz black cod served with sweet potato hash.

* "Chicken Skewers & Asparagus" for $14. Four 3oz chicken breast skewers marinated overnight in honey and orange-teriyaki sauce and served with fire-grilled asparagus. Single skewers available for $3.

* "Traditional Tres Leches Cake" for $7. White cake soaked in three kinds of milk topped with caramel sauce, whipped cream and fresh berries.


The Fifty/50 Fall Football Specialty Drinks (starting Wednesday, September 8)
The Fifty/50 will serve all four of its cold fall football specialty drinks and four draft beers in 24oz glass mugs shaped like footballs that feature The Fifty/50's logo. Also, this fall The Fifty/50 will debut two booze-abetted "Warm Drinks" utilizing Rare Tea Cellar organic teas that will be served in clear 12oz glasses.

* "The Mango-Chili Margarita" (Cazadores tequila, Cointreau, fresh mango, chipotle peppers, fresh lemon juice, fresh lime juice, honey, smoky chipotle salt rim) $10

* "The Absolut Corazon" (Absolut Mandrin vodka, Absolut Ruby Red vodka, blood orange juice, pomegranate juice, club soda, Sprite) $10

* "The Cherry Limeade" (Skyy Cherry vodka, fresh lime juice, sour mix, Sprite, club soda, grenadine float) $10

* "The Golden Pear-A-Chute" (Smirnoff Pear vodka, cream soda, housemade brown sugar-cinnamon simple syrup, sour mix) $9

* Drafts (Goose Island 312, Goose Island Seasonal Harvest Ale, Hoegaarden, and Stella Artois) $8
