Winston Smith is sick of losing. The major sports teams in Chicago let him down time and time again. He's through with it. Or is he? What will O'Brien do? Can Julia save him? Does any of it matter with Papa Bear always watching? Factory Theater's 1985 imagines an Orwellian Chicago where disavowing oneself from team loyalty isn't easy and is perhaps, impossible. If the Chicago Bears win, What will be the cost?

Who controls the past controls the future.
Who controls the present controls the past.
There will be no loyalty, except loyalty toward BEAR NATION.
There will be no love, except the love of Papa Bear.
Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory,
the sensation of trampling on Packers & the like who are helpless.
If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot shuffling across a human face... Forever!
Bear Down!
