The Chicago Theatre Tour Announces Student Discounts Through February

The Chicago Theatre announced today a brand new student discount beginning today and running through February 2013 in which college students in the Chicago area can take advantage of $2 off the full ticket price with valid student ID. This behind-the-scenes tour is a "must-see" Chicago attraction for guests to experience the legendary venue, where many of the world's greatest entertainers have graced the stage and delighted audiences for nearly 90 years.

The Student Discount Tour will be offered on select days from now through February 2013. Please see the below schedule for dates and times:

NOVEMBER 2012
- Tuesday and Thursday at Noon
- Saturday at 11am and 12:30pm

DECEMBER 2012
- Monday through Thursday at Noon
- Saturday at 11am and 12:30pm

JANUARY – FEBRUARY 2013
- Tuesday and Thursday at Noon
- Saturday at 11am and 12:30pm

The Chicago Theatre Marquee Tour is a one-hour walking tour that highlights the beautiful historical and architectural detailing of the legendary venue, including the grand lobby and majestic auditorium. Visitors will also be invited backstage where some of the world's brightest stars have graced the stage and autographed the dressing room walls and corridors, including Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, and Beyoncé. Tour guides will share stories and anecdotes about the visionaries who first opened The Chicago Theatre and whose influence on popular entertainment is still recognized today. Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to view the large-scale photo exhibit in The Chicago Theatre's lower lobby, 'Chicago: Three Centuries of Theatres.
