TUTA Theatre Chicago Hosts Inaugural Event DRINKING WITH THE EXPERTS: A TUTA PARTY

TUTA Theatre Chicago is proud to announce "Drinking with the Experts: A TUTA Party" an evening mixer filled with conversational curiosity and delectable delights. This event will benefit their 2017 season and the continuation of their training center. The fundraiser will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016, with doors opening at 6:30pm and experts speaking from 7:00-10:00pm at TUTA, 4670 North Manor Avenue, in the Ravenswood Manor neighborhood of Chicago. There is free, off-street parking and direct access to the Francisco Station on the CTA Brown Line.

Back by popular demand, TUTA brings you a new evening of captivating discussion with some of Chicago's most interesting individuals. Chat with neuroscientists, cinematographers, entrepreneurs, artists and more over custom cocktails and scrumptious treats.

A few of our experts include:

  • Boleslaw Osinski - Neuroscientist

  • Daniel Billups - Documentary filmmaker

  • Mina Bloom - Reporter for DNAinfo Chicago

  • Jenn Gibbons - Athlete and activist, Executive Director of Recovery On Water

  • Neil Blackadder - Translator of contemporary French and German drama

  • Lance Adams - Filmmaker, Bridgeport Film Club

  • Cindy Savage - Co-Founder of Crafty Broads, Wedding Planning and Custom Garments

  • Paul Karner - Musician and producer based in Chicago and Haiti

  • Pat Loboyko - Graphic Novelist

  • Lori McClain - Improvisor and member of Sirens, the country's longest running all female improv group

  • PatRick Smith - Politics and Criminal Justice reporter for WBEZ

  • Shoni Currier - Director of Performing Arts for the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events

Admission is a minimum donation of $35 per person. Donations will be accepted at the door, or can be given in advance at www.tutato.com. TUTA is a not-for-profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible.

Proceeds from this benefit will directly support TUTA's 2017 season and the continuation of the training center.
