Kokandy Productions just announced its "new" summer 2016 production: the funny, intimate and moving musical TOMORROW MORNING with book, music and lyrics by Laurence Mark Wythe, directed by Co-Artistic Director John D. Glover, music direction by Kory Danielson and choreography by Cameron Turner. TOMMOROW MORNING will replace Kokandy's previously announced production of GUTENBERG! THE MUSICAL.

TOMORROW MORNING will play July 9 - August 28, 2016 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago. Tickets go on sale Sunday, May 1, 2016 at www.kokandyproductions.com, by calling (773) 975-8150 or in person at the Theater Wit Box Office. Previews $25. Regular run $38. The press opening is Monday, July 11 at 7:30 pm.

TOMMOROW MORNING will feature Carl Herzog, Teressa LaGamba, Tina Naponelli and Neil Stratman.

TOMORROW MORNING follows two couples, separated by time, both preparing for a monumental day ahead. When morning comes, twenty-somethings John and Kat will marry and embark upon a new life, while older couple Jack and Catherine will sign their divorce papers. Trouble is, is anyone really sure they're doing the right thing? TOMORROW MORNING is about the uncertainty of impending change and ultimately, the redeeming power of love.

Since its London debut in 2006, TOMORROW MORNING has played on four continents and has been translated into four languages. The 2011 Off-Broadway production earned an Outer Critics' Circle Award nomination for Best New Off-Broadway Musical.

"TOMORROW MORNING is both heartwarming and heartbreaking," comments director John D. Glover. "This show really speaks to anyone who has ever been in a relationship, to have one end when they thought it would last forever, and for anyone who has ever contemplated sharing their life with someone else. It is about how tiny moments can become huge, and no matter how strong a relationship once seemed, life can quickly make it as fragile as a flower," adds Glover.

The production team for TOMORROW MORNING includes: Ashley Ann Woods (scenic design), Cat Wilson (lighting design), Mike Patrick (sound design), Johnny Buranosky (props design), Aaron Shapiro (production manager) and Kait Samuels (stage manager).
