THE PLUCKY SHOW Returns to Gorilla Tango Bucktown, 3/13

Plucky Rosenthal, the Jewish Star of Stage and Stage, returns with up-and-coming artists you should know with "The Plucky Show," a monthly variety show featuring a rotating cast of Chicago's best and brightest variety performers. "The Plucky Show" performs the second Thursday of the month at 9 pm on Thursday, March 13, 2014 through Thursday, June 12, 2014. All performances take place at Gorilla Tango Bucktown, 1919 N Milwaukee, Chicago IL, 60647. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at gorillatango.com/bucktown or by calling 773-598-4549.

Equal parts Pee Wee's Playhouse, the Carol Burnett Show, and old-school vaudeville, "The Plucky Show" invites you to enjoy live music, comedy, and dance, in this unique night of cabaret theatre. Host Plucky Rosenthal will weave you skillfully through an evening featuring a new group of performers each month. Declared "...endlessly bubbly, charismatic, and a darling throwback to vintage vaudeville" by Gapers Block, "The Plucky Show" is a sure-fire hit in the burgeoning Chicago variety scene.

March's cast features musicians Mike Madgiak and Jamee Warrenfeltz; Plucky ensemble Erica Reid, Kallie Rolison, Alexandra Tsarpalas, and Erin Thorn; in-house band Tim Joyce and Jeff Rukes; burlesque performer Bella Ciao; variety performers Vanessa Valliere of Mucca Pazza and Tour de Fat; The Noah Ginex Puppet Company featuring Noah Ginex and Adam McAleavey, and a new film from Marty Schousboe.
