Tickets are $10 with special multiple performance packages available. Tickets may be purchased at www.chicagofringe.org.Theodore Roosevelt consistently appears at the top of "America's Best Presidents" lists. Roosevelt, more than 100 years after his presidency, still captures the imagination of this nation including an appearance on the cover of Time Magazine as recently as 2006 where Time declared "At home and abroad, Theodore Roosevelt was the locomotive President, the man who drew his flourishing nation into the future." Derek Evans brings the 26th President of the United States to life in a lively and engaging performance that allows the audience to meet more than just a footnote in history. They learn he was an athlete, adventurer, conservationist, avid reader, scholar, philosopher, teacher, author, soldier, Nobel Prize winner, visionary, politician, playful dad, and the father of the first "Teddy" Bear. The story sheds light on how from his days as a toddler to his years as president, Roosevelt's strength of character and personal responsibility set an example for America that is still valid today.Photo Credit: Derek Evans
