What happens when a narrator walks on stage to read a book and the pages are blank and the actors are nowhere to be found?! In this interactive improvised adventure it is up to YOU, the audience, to inspire and perform in The Greatest Story Never Told.

The Greatest Story Never Told will be performing at Theatre Wit, 1229 W. Belmont, every Saturday at 1:30pm from today, February 1st to March 22nd, 2014. Tickets are $15.00. The opening press performance is Saturday February 1st at 1:30pm.

The Greatest Story Never Told is a space where children, families and strangers can collaborate through the arts and generate spontaneous stories together. Our professional improvisers will get suggestions and volunteers of all ages throughout the entire creation. Each original story will be transcribed by a writer and inspire art by an illustrator and ultimately turned into a physical storybook the audience may keep forever.

The Greatest Story Team includes actors, improvisers, writers, illustrators, and designers from all over the city with credits that include The Second City Theatricals, The Annoyance, iO, Harpo Productions, Under The Gun, Comedy Sports, The Paper Machete, Lifeline, Mansical, Twisty, The Best Church of God.

The improvisers, writers and illustrators are Sean Cusick, Derek Czaplewski , Lisa Farver, Sarah Hoffman, Erin Island, Melissa Leonard, Scott Levy, Julie Marchiano , Angela McMahon, Zephian Michaels, Rob Patterson, April Payton, Andrew Ritter , Ed Selvey IV, Lindy Voeltner, Jay Rollins, Bryn McCoy, with Technical Direction by Dujuan Pritchett.
