The Second National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, broke the house record in its first week of performances at the Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe). The show grossed $1,493,961 for the week ending December 16. THE BOOK OF MORMON began performances on December 11, 2012, with performances now extended through September 8, 2013.

In Chicago, THE BOOK OF MORMON conducts a pre-show drawing at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 each. The wildly popular day-of-show drawing for the Broadway production has attracted as many as 800 entries at some performances. Entries for that day's performance(s) will be accepted in-person when the Bank of America Theatre box office opens each day. Each person will print their name and the number of tickets (1 or 2) they wish to purchase on a card that is provided. Two hours before curtain, names will be drawn at random for a limited number of tickets priced at $25 each. Cards are checked for duplication prior to drawing. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid ID to purchase tickets. Limit one entry per person and two tickets per winner. Tickets are subject to availability.

THE BOOK OF MORMON features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone are the four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of the landmark animated series, "South Park." Tony Award-winner Lopez is co-creator of the long-running hit musical comedy, Avenue Q. The musical is choreographed by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (Monty Python's Spamalot, The Drowsy Chaperone) and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker.

THE BOOK OF MORMON's Second National Tour cast includes Nic Rouleau, direct from the Broadway company, starring in the role of Elder Price. Ben Platt stars opposite Rouleau as Elder Cunningham. Also featured in the Second National Tour are Syesha Mercado as Nabulungi, Pierce Cassedy as Elder McKinley and James Vincent Meredith as Mafala, with Christopher Shyer, David Aron Damane, J. Casey Barrett, Tallia Brinson, Rob Colletti, Patrice Covington, Camille Eanga-Selenge, Jake Emmerling, Mike Evariste, Donell James Foreman, Bradley D. Gale, Eric Giancola, Darius Harper, Eric Huffman, Corey Hummerston, Eric Jackson, Emily Jenda, Nick Laughlin, Stephen Mark Lukas, Paris Alexander Nesbitt, Monica L. Patton, John Pinto Jr., Jon-Michael Reese, Travis Robertson, Cessalee Stovall and Hardy Weaver.
