Tony Award-winning Broadway star Sutton Foster will bring her concert, "An Evening with Sutton Foster" on tour this year, playing shows in New York, Massachusetts, Los Angeles, and more.
"An Evening with Sutton Foster," is an intimate concert feauturing many of the hit songs Sutton created in her memorable Broadway career as well as her favorite tunes from the classic, pop and Broadway songbooks and selections from her new CD "Wish." Michael Rafter is the Music Director.
Foster received a Tony nomination for her role in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE. Perhaps best known for her performance as Millie Dillmount in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE," for which she received 2002 Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Astaire Awards, Sutton recently starred on Broadway as Princess Fiona in SHREK: THE MUSICAL and was honored with Tony and Drama Desk nominations, and the Outer Critics Circle Award. Prior to that, Sutton played Inga in the Mel Brooks musical, "YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN and Jo March in "LITTLE WOMEN: THE MUSICAL (2005 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations).According to a representative for Foster, additional tour dates for Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orange County and other cities will be announced shortly.
