Susan Messing Joins Chicago Ladies in Comedy's Breaking the Mold Workshop, 12/7

Susan Messing, dubbed "Funniest woman in Chicago," by Chicago Magazine, joins Chicago Ladies in Comedy as guest instructor for the monthly workshop series Breaking the Mold.

This 2-hour Master Class explores improv techniques, games, activities and the personal philosophy of a renowned comedienne. Join Chicago Ladies in Comedy in finding comedic nirvana and remember, the most important part is to have fun. Guests should bring clothing that moves and writing implements. This master class is open to all levels of comedy experience.

The workshop will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 7PM-9PM at The Training Center (4802 N. Broadway, 2nd Floor Studio A in Chicago). Tickets for 2 Hours with Susan Messing can be purchased at http://btmsusanmessing.bpt.me/. Tickts are $10 if purchased before December 2.

Susan Messing, a NJ native and graduate of Northwestern University's Theatre School, is an alumna of the iO, Second City's Mainstage, and a founding member of Chicago's infamous Annoyance Theatre. She is an alumna , creator and teacher of the curriculum at iO. She continues to teach at The Annoyance, Second City, and around the country. Chicago Reader has named her "Best Improviser" and she is the recipient of The Chicago Improv Festival's "Improviser of the Year" award.

Chicago Ladies in Comedy is a non profit organization offering affordable opportunities for artists to cultivate their abilities and sample the best of what Chicago has to offer. Class numbers are limited to 15 people to ensure that participants get individual attention. All levels are welcome.
