The Summer Place Theatre Of Naperville is ready to get their Dancing Queen on with their summer production of Mamma Mia. Mamma Mia, with upbeat choreography and direction by Chicagoland's own Samantha Sieghart, is the third and final show of the theatre's island themed season. This production features music direction by Kayla Lollar with assistance by Rex Meyer, sound design by Jeff Sand, lighting design by Samuel Stephen, technical direction by Charles Martin, and costume design by Jane Grebeck.

The great songs of ABBA weave together a tale of love, marriage, family and finding where you belong. Sophie wants her dad to walk her down the aisle. But there's a problem: who is he? Her mother Donna never said, but a peek in mom's old diary uncovers three possibilities, and Sophie invites them all to the wedding!

"Dancing Queen," "The Name of the Game," "Knowing Me, Knowing You," "The Winner Takes It All," and many more great '70's staples by the Swedish Sensation, and it's all performed for you by your friends and neighbors of The Summer Place!

This production stars newcomer Amy Rodriguez as Sophie Sheridan, with theatre veteran Marie Groh starring as her mother, Donna Sheridan. Also featured are the talents of Terri Crain Goodman as Tanya, Jessica Woodburn as Rosie, Jaime Sandoval as Sam Carmichael, Adam Rociles as Sky, Matt Whalen as Bill Austin, Rick Love as Harry Bright, Katie Zarletti as Ali, Maria Alexandra as Lisa, John Colombo as Pepper, and Brian Teper as Eddie. Rounding out the ensemble are Nickel Hays, Sean Michael Williams, Charlotte Totten, Leen Abusalem, Maddie McDowell, Nick Welters, and Dan Judy.

Mamma Mia! at the Summer Place Theatre runs Friday, July 19 through Saturday, August 3. Performances are held at the Yellow Box Theatre in Naperville. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit https://summerplacetheatre.org
