Steep Theatre's upcoming production of Ross Dungan's The Life and Sort of Death of Eric Argyle will feature an impressive collection of fourteen of Chicago's hottest actors. The talented ensemble will be working with Jeff Award-winning director Jonathan Berry to bring to life this inspiring tale of how even the most seemingly inconsequential lives can have a profound impact on the people they touch. Eric Argyle's cast includes members of Steep's critically-acclaimed ensemble, as well as actors from some of 2014's most notable productions, including Exit Strategy, Men Should Weep, the Goodman's Magic Play, and Steppenwolf's Animal Farm.

Patricia Donegan (Mrs. Quillmore, Geraldine) has appeared at Steep Theatre in Book of Days, Kill the Old Torture their Young and Love and Money. Other credits include Remy Bumppo's The Voysey Inheritance,Wit at Gift Theatre, Victory Gardens' Jacob and Jack, Lifeline Theatre'sA Room with a View and David Cromer's Hot l Baltimore. She worked with Strawdog Theatre on Three Sisters and Uncle Vanya both directed by Kimberly Senior. She has also performed with Griffin Theatre, Shattered Globe, Court Theatre, Lookingglass, 16th Street Theatre, Stage Left and Chicago Dramatists.
Alex Gillmor (Roger) is a Founding Member of Steep Theatre. He has appeared at Steep in The Vandal, Motortown, Moment, Festen, Harper Regan, Parlour Song, Dealers Choice, and Bang the Drum Slowly, among many other productions.
Peter Moore (Mr. Downey) is a Founding Member and the Artistic Director of Steep Theatre. Pete has appeared in numerous Steep productions over the years, including If There is I Haven't Found It Yet, Motortown, Love and Money, Festen, A Brief History of Helen of Troy,and Harper Regan. He most recently was seen in Route 66 Theatre's hit The Downpour, with fellow Steep Ensemble Member Caroline Neff. Pete's film and TV credits include Chicago Fire and Bollywood's Dhoom 3.
Melissa Riemer (Victoria) most recently appeared as Emily in A Small Fire at Steep. Other Steep productions include Moment, Under the Blue Sky, Festen, Harper Regan, 2,000 Feet Away, Book Of Days (Jeff Nomination Best Ensemble) and Catch-22. Julia Siple (Jessica) most recently appeared as Jenny in Steep's production of A Small Fire and Marley in Motortown. Prior Steep shows include Moment, Love and Money, Under the Blue Sky, 2,000 Feet Away, Festen and Harper Regan. Julia has worked with various theater companies around Chicago including Viaduct, TUTA, Strawdog, Circle, Griffin, and Uffish. Julia is the Managing Director at Steep Theatre.

Lucy Carapetyan (Gillian) recently appeared in Steppenwolf's critically-acclaimed production of Animal Farm. She has previously appeared at Steep in Breathing Corpses and The Hollow Lands. Lucy has worked with Steppenwolf, Griffin, Lifeline, Dog & Pony, and The House, among others. She serves as the Director of Education for Two Pence Theatre Company, and teaches and performs with Actors Gymnasium.
Jeff Duhigg (Eric Argyle) is a graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University and is a company member at the Irish Theatre of Chicago. He played Dr. Harvey in Griffin Theatre's production of Punk Rock (Jeff Award Winner- Best Ensemble). Jeff has been seen in productions at TUTA, Strawdog, Griffin, New Leaf, The Side Project, Caffeine and other various theatres. Jeff joined the cast of Steep's extended run of Moment.
Tim Musachio (Sam, Arthur) is working with Steep Theatre and Jonathan Berry for the first time. He is an ensemble member at The Artistic Home where he has performed in The Late Henry Moss, The American Plan, Sweet Bird of Youth and How to Act Around Cops. Other Chicago credits include Where We're Born with Steppenwolf Theatre directed by Steep Company Member Brad Akin, Sweet Bird of Youthwith Goodman Theatre, Kin with Griffin Theatre and Margaret Flemingwith Blackbird Theatre.
Ashley Neal (Julia) is a member of Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, where she has appeared in many productions, including Wrens, 26 Miles, The Walls, Expecting Isobel, and Be Aggressive. Ashley was most recently seen in Men Should Weep with Griffin Theatre. Other Chicago credits include Stage Door with Griffin Theatre, Reverb with Redtwist Theatre, Holidaze with Step Up Productions, Scenes from the Big Picture with Seanachi, as well as work with Chicago Dramatists, Jackalope Theatre, Victory Gardens, The Greenhouse Theatre, and many others.
Brett Schneider (Craig, Graham) has appeared in The Magic Play(Goodman Theatre, New Stages), The Great God Pan (Next Theatre),Homecoming 1972 (Chicago Dramatists), The Glass Menagerie(Steppenwolf Theatre), The Sea (Theatre Mir), Peter and the Wolf(Lookingglass Theatre), The Hiding Place (Provision Theatre),REWIND (the side project theatre), and Rose and the Rime (The House Theatre). Pat Whalen (Young Eric Argyle) is a company member of Jackalope Theatre Company and an alumnus of Columbia College Chicago. Pat recently appeared in Jackalope's 2014 hit Exit Strategy. This is his first production with Steep Theatre.
Norm Woodel (Mr. Aldershot) is fresh from his win as "Best Supporting Actor" at the 2014 Non-Equity Jeff Awards for his role as the Father in Griffin Theatre Company's Golden Boy. His Chicago stage credits include: Steep Theater's highly acclaimed Festen and Tony Winner-Joe DiPietro's F**king Men. Woodel's television and film work includes Matlock, The Client, and a Music Video with Dolly Parton. He's one of Chicago's most successful voice over actors - voicing promos for CBSNews and commercials for Subway to name a few.
Grier Burke (Imelda, Alannah) is making her Steep Theatre debut. She most recently appeared in the Lookingglass Theater Arts Quest Camp production of History Detectives, playing the roles of both the Butler and Cindy Lauper. Grier's film/television credits include an appearance on ABC 7 Chicago's Heart and Soul, and an appearance inJourneyman an Independent NYU Student Film. She was the principal in a National Television commercial for Kmart and has also appeared in commercials for Kohl's and Barilla Pasta.
Kylie Sullivan (Imelda, Alannah) is 8 years old. She is a competitive dancer, is taking voice lessons and has been acting since she was 4. She has done over 35 projects. However, this is her first professional theater experience.
