Sideshow Theatre Company is pleased to launch its 2015/16 Season with Hansol Jung's surreal and mischievous new comedy NO MORE SAD THINGS, a co-world premiere with Boise Contemporary Theatre directed by Elly Green, playing November 15 - December 20, 2015 at Victory Gardens Richard Christiansen Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago. Tickets are currently available at www.victorygardens.org, by calling (773) 871-3000 or in person at the Victory Gardens Box Office. The press opening is Thursday, November 19 at 7:30 pm.

NO MORE SAD THINGS features artistic associate Katy Carolina Collins* with George Infantado and Narciso Lobo.

A girl catches a last-minute flight to Maui. A boy finds the girl on the shores of Ka'anapali. Something strange and something familiar pulls them closer. They have sex on the beach and spend the week together. The week ends. The girl is 32. The boy is not. Sideshow follows up its smash-hit production of Stupid F*cking Bird with this sly, delicate and very funny world premiere.

The production team for NO MORE SAD THINGS includes: William Boles (scenic/props designer), Izumi Inaba (costume designer), Diane Fairchild (lighting designer), Chris LaPorte* (sound designer), Eva Breneman (dialect coach), Claire Redfield (assistant director/dramaturg), Ben Dawson* (production manager), Chad Hain (technical director) and Elyse Estes (stage manager).
