Short Story Theatre to Host Evening of Storytelling, 9/26

Short Story Theatre, a troupe of local writers/performers, presents an evening of storytelling on Thursday, September 26, at 7:00 p.m., at Cellar Gate Wine Bar, 524 Sheridan Road in Highwood.

Storytellers include Deerfield residents Sarita Miller and Mary Lou Gilliam and their stories: "Skies and Scales" and "Bouley Pole Dancing." Benita Haberman of Vernon Hills tells her story - "Someday," and Peggy Lewis of Lincolnshire shares her story about "Dexter and Condi."

Stories are creative non-fiction and are approximately 10 minutes long, with breaks between stories to eat and drink.
