The Second City has announced the 15th annual return of its epic "The Second City That Never Sleeps" event. 24 Hour: You Can Always Come Home will run non-stop from Monday, November 21st at 5:00 p.m. until Tuesday, November 22nd at 5:00 p.m. in The Second City e.t.c. Theater. Entry is $20 (cash only) as long as seats are available.

Some of Second City's most lauded alumni are set to return to the Piper's Alley stage, including: Tim Baltz, Edgar Blackmon, T.J. Jagodowski, Brendan Jennings, Jack McBrayer, Chris Redd, Katie Rich and Cecily Strong.

Musicians scheduled to perform live are: Jeff Tweedy; Steve Albini; Nina Gordon of Veruca Salt; The Mountain Goats; Bobby, Holly & the Ricketts; Russian violinist and composer Ljova with Chicago Symphony Orchestra percussionist Vadim Karpinos; Grey Gersten and more.

Additionally, a private concert with Jeff Tweedy will be up for grabs at Charitybuzz.com. The Grammy-winning Wilco frontman is auctioning off a private, acoustic living room show-- 30 songs of the winning bidder's choosing, played for 29 invited guests. Other items will be included in the Charitybuzz auction, including SNL tickets donated by Cecily Strong and Aidy Bryant. Auction dates are TBA.

All proceeds support families from Chicago's Onward Neighborhood House as part of their Letters to Santa program. Second City is proud to have helped raise over $1,000,000 for Onward Neighborhood House, an organization that empowers families and individuals in need to achieve their full potential in a community-based setting. Last year's 24 Hour event helped them open a new adult education center, which offers free ESL, GED, job readiness and citizenship classes.
